Department of English

The Predominant objective of the Department of English is to impart quality education, enhance the communication skills of students and thereby improving their chances of placement opportunities.

The students are trained to develop their Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Skills and to excel in their communicative abilities which would open the gateway of opportunities.

Immense care is taken to focus on students from schools with regional medium of instruction and to help them become conversant in English. Strenuous efforts are being put in consistently to improve the teaching learning process.

A modern language laboratory has been installed with all necessary software to help students hone their communicative skills.

To help students enhance their Communication Skills by means of interactive workshops and productive activities along with the customary teaching learning process.

To secure an overall result of 90% in the End Semester examination.
